Product Description
This is a direct replacement chassis brace for the AE B6 / B6.1 with laydown transmission with 30mm fan mount
Fan sits directly on the chassis and is clamped down by the mount. You can push the fan directly against the motor if desired and adjust it based on your motor position with different gearing. There are holes in the top for set screws if the fan is loose. Put minimal pressure on the fan with set screws to not distort the fan or put extra stress on the mount. This could cause the mount to break. You can also secure the fan with a drop of shoe goo under the fan.
- Due to 3d printing tolerances, you may need to slightly ream the pivot ball hole for smooth movement
- Recommended to slowly prethread the bottom mount screw holes for easier installation.
- Be carefull when using power screwdrivers. Check the clutch settings so you don't strip the holes.
