One of many iPhone cases requested so here it is, suitable for iPhone 8 Plus, 7 Plus and 6S Plus.
- Slim design case.
- Suitable for iPhone 8 Plus, 7 Plus and 6S Plus.
- Attaches to any Garmin Edge mounts.
- Loop for lanyard/tether.
A slim design iPhone case with Garmin quarter-turn cycle mount on the back, allowing you to attach your phone to most Garmin Edge compatible handlebar or out-front mount. The Hill Climb 100 logo debossed on the back of the case symbolises those 100% all out efforts, be it out trying to take your local Strava KOM back or at home in your own personal pain cave.
Please note due to the size this case doesn't lend itself to mounting on an out front (low) style of mount. Out front mounts above the handlebar line are fine.
The case has been designed in accordance with Apple’s accessory design guidelines. It has suitable clearance for ports, buttons and camera so no annoying flash glare as with some cases.
Alternatively, if you want to mount your own phone case to your bike, be it iPhone, Samsung etc take a look at my Garmin Mount Plates.
They can be glued to any case.
The case has been designed for use on a static bike or turbo trainer with programs such as Tacx, Zwift or Bkool. Zwift for example has a mobile app that gives you "in game" controls and data. The case is brilliant for keeping this at your fingertips.
A number of people have also used the case out and about on their bikes so I've added a lanyard loop to tether the phone to your bars. Use the same lanyard, or similar, that comes with most GPS devices. Please note the lanyard is not provided and the use outdoors is still at your own risk.
I’m a MEng Aerospace Engineer and former professional cyclist. All the items, including this case, are ones which I’ve developed and use myself. A hobby which I take too far but want to share with others.
Feel free to get in contact with any questions or feedback. Individual customisation will be considered, in particular, the position and depth of the Garmin mount can be altered for best positioning on your handlebars.
