Product Description
CRISPR is an acronym that refers to Clustered Regularly Interspaced Short Palindromic Repeats and is an essential component of the CRISPR-Cas9 and CRISPR-CPF1 genome editing tools. Using this technology, specific stretches of DNA can be localized via guide RNAs associated with CRISPR and then precisely edited with the endonucleases Cas9 or CPF1 in living cells and organism. CRISPR has the potential to revolutionize treatment of genetic diseases by effectively correcting defects in DNA.

This pendant model is based on the CRISPR structure provided by the McGovern Insitute for Brain Research at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. The model measures 2.4 cm by 1.8 cm by 2.8 cm.
