Product Description

1:300 scale ATS-59G artillery tractor; set of 4 vehicles, with open deck.

The prototype ATS-59G was an updated model of the earlier ATS-59: the two are easily distinguishable as the ATS-59G has a full-width cab. They found most use as artillery tractors (e.g. for the M-46 130 mm field gun), but some were used in other roles; for example as the chassis for various engineering vehicles.

The photos show a single vehicle taken from the set, done in the default WSF plastic. It's good enough for most wargaming purposes; however, the WSF Polished plastic often looks better, and is not much more expensive, so I'd normally recommend that. Unfortunately, Shapeways will often reject orders done in "Polished", because some of the details will be polished away, but these tend to be details not visible in the first place if you are using the cheapest WSF plastic... Note that even in the default WSF, you might get a rejected order if a Shapeways operator decides the tracks are "too thin" to print...
