This is a tiny sculpture of an origami crane inside a cage, made out of the crease patterns of 6 classic bases, and folded into a cube.

An origami base is a basic set of starting folds that are used to create models in a particular family, and they are repeated throughout a myriad of different classic models. A crease pattern is a diagram that consists of all or most of the creases in the final model, rendered into a flat image. This sculpture consists of 6 crease patterns of classic bases, each taking place as a face of a cube.
