Product Description
Saint George and the Dragon is a late medieval wooden sculpture depicting the motif of Saint George and the Dragon, located in Storkyrkan in Stockholm, Sweden. It is attributed to Bernt Notke and was commissioned by the Swedish regent Sten Sture the Elder. It was inaugurated in 1489. It has been described as an artistic high point in the artistic production of Bernt Notke.
This jewel can be found on the sallet of St George, as seen in the attached photograph.
The jewel can hold one square gemstone of 10x10 millimeter, four square gemstones of 5x5 millimeter, 24 pearls of max 6 millimeter diameter, and has three large plume holders in the back.
Two eyelets in the back allow sturdy attachment of this jewel to your garment.
