Ultimaker 2 Ducted Fan Mk2.5 for use with the Olss

I have had the Ultimaker 2 for over 1.5 years and have made numerous improvements.

This is one of my newest improvements, that I have been testing for over 3 months and I now want to share it with you!

The difference to print quality this Ducted Fan makes it quite astonishing! I have seen much better quality on under hangs, sharp edges but most of all I have seen massive improvements in part symmetry. In the past one side of the print would come out perfectly with the other looking a bit rough. This 'Ultimaker 2 Ducted Fan Mk2.5' completely eradicates this issue, but it doesn’t stop there... it improves airflow, to the point that 50% fan speed is comparable to using 100% fan speed with the original ducting.

This gives you massive improvements in cooling which is especially useful for small parts.

How have I made improvements?
1, Symmetry, I have ducted air from both fans perfectly on both sides. This gives even cooling 360 degrees around the print head.
2, Focusing the air flow where it is needed, this gives higher airflow meaning a much lower fan speed is needed to achieve part cooling.
3, Simplicity, easy installation which is designed for use with the Olsson Block. Print heads can be removed and replaced with ease.

Note: this 'Ultimaker 2 Ducted Fan Mk2.5' is design to be used with the Olsson Block. It will not work with the standard nozzle set up.
