Product Description
This mushroom ring topper snaps onto the snap ring base sold in this shop. The Reiche Mushroom Cluster is the first in a line of playful fungus ring toppers I am designing. The Reiche mushroom had been used in traditional Asian medicine for more than 4,000 years. It is dried and used as a tea to relieve fatigue, asthma, and to promote longevity. In Japan it is called mannentake, meaning 10,000 year old mushroom. Fungus is also now being explored as a bio building material. I hope that this jewelry will be a fun conversation starter for those who wear it!
