Product Description
This is a conversion part to make a rake of 5 (only 8 were ever made/converted) EWS CSA tanks out of a standard hornby or lima V tank, to make either cut away the top of the tank or file down as in the picture and then glue into place and fill the gaps, the walkway can be made from various etched parts, e.g. A1 Railmatch or S-Kits. There are cast replacement access hatches available, if you are unable to save either of the donor vehicle hatches, I think wizard models/51L do sets of 4 of them. The photos of the real wagons taken at Peak Forest in July 2000 by Paul Harrison. There were eight wagons refurbished for the traffic from Hindlow to Fifoots Point power station and they were numbered 876057 to 876064 and they were originally Rugby Cement owned PCA cement tanks.
