Volvo B10m Bus 2-0-2 Odense N scale

Motorize-able Danish Bus body This is a special variation of the comon Volvo B10m Urban bus with Aabenraa M73 Bodywork and the rare door configuration 2-0-2 as used in the city Odense. This model is based on the variation that operated In Odense by Odense Bytrafik from the late 70'ies untill 2007 when the company was privatized. This distinct version was the most simple of the B10m M73 busses as it merely had extra ventilation hatches on the roof in place of a ventilation system, it was also the most long lived bus-type in Denmark with over 30 years of age for some of the oldest buses. Even after OB took the buses out of service they were exported to Russia where they continue to drive. Because the buses were well maintained they were often sold second hand to private operators locally or to work as school or institution buses. The danish Civil defense has also used a couple of these buses. ASSEMBLY AND ORDER OF THE MODEL: This chassis will fit on a Tomytec BM-02 moving bus chassis. the scale is 1:154 Because a precise 1:160 version would not fit the Tomytec chassis.
