One day I decided to create a piece of jewelry with lots of dangling parts - and somehow I started thinking of the term "ragdoll". Specifically, "ragdolls" in video games, which are employed whenever a character needs to be tossed around at the mercy of simulated gravity.
I settled on a hollow stick figure design - light, minimalistic chain links to balance aesthetics against stability and material cost.
This version of the ragdoll has a total of 11 moveable parts - head, upper and lower torso, upper and lower arms, thighs and calves. You can find a similar ragdoll with fewer joints here: http://shpws.me/Q8W9
It was successfully printed in Frosted Ultra Detail, Acrylics, Polished Metallic Plastic and colored Polished Strong & Flexible. Note, however, that the polishing of the latter two makes the links thinner and more delicate.
