Abandoned as a baby at a temple of the forest god, forest gnome Gerrik Gerfrook had trouble fitting in among larger races. He spent his time speaking the small animals around the temple, and convincing them to stay out of the dangerous temple. High Priestess Lia Zazmar, dazzled by the new cleanliness, ordained Gerrik Gerfrook a knight of the kingdom. His true role, however, was closer to that of a janitor. In his new position, he made use of slimes’ corrosive acid to keep the temple spotless, but knew the creatures had deeper potential.
Seeking understanding of these mysterious and formidable creatures, Gerrik formed the Order of the Slime. So far, the Orders’ only recruit is his steed, an inordinately intelligent slime named Mopsy. Now, they crusade all across the land, keeping civilians safe from slimes, and slimes safe from civilians.
