Padre Island is the on the coast of Texas and is the world's longest undeveloped barrier island. It is home to Padre Island National Seashore (PINS), and protects overs 70 miles of coastline, dunes, prairies, and wind tidal flats regions. It is a safe nesting ground for the Kemp’s ridley sea turtle and a haven for 380 bird species. It is a beautiful place with tons of opportunities for water sports and other recreation. The northern tip of the island is just outside the southern end of Corpus Christi, TX.
