Product Description

Please read my article in aeromodeller N0.929 September/October2014.

This is not for the Superhunter, it´s not compatible.

With this set you should be able to turn your Ed Hunter into a radiocontrolled  motor. This opens up new possibilities. Now you can build that vintage plane with an ED Hunter upfront. Even a way to adjust the idle is included. Intended for a m2X5 screw or similar. If there is some powder left in the pinhole you can easely poke it through. No need for a powertool. For finishing use a tube of fresh thin (and cheap) cyano. Lay it in the fridge and apply it cold in two stages. In the second stage you apply it where your fingers were in the first stage. Don´t let the cyano block any of the holes. Especially the 2mm pinhole. The hardened cyano could deflect the drill making the hole not true. Disclaimer: I do not make money at all from these designs. 100% of your pay goes to shapeways. I get nothing. You may buy these designs and use them at your own risk. I have put plenty of time and effort in these designs  but I still may have it wrong. I don´t have a ED Hunter MkIV. But I do have a ED Superhunter. I assume the most crucial dimensions are the same (as with the ED Racer from MkI to MkV and the Superracer). I measured the depth to the conrod 9.45mm. The depth to the crankpin 7.85mm. Diameter of the crankpin = 5mm. I assumed the dimensions of the NVA are quite similar to the one of the ED racer. For those who are aesthetically sensetive I offer the parts separately so they can order contrasting colours.

If you want  your engine running in reverse ask for a mirrored version.

5/22  V2 uploaded: The barrelholder is now beefed up to 1.6mm in the middle.
