Product Description
N scale model of coil cradles as seen on RCJF broad gauge wagons carrying steel coils from the Melbourne Steel Yard to the Hastings steel works. Also seen on standard gauge trains between Port Kembla and Melbourne. Coils are transported from the Port Kembla steelworks on standard gauge to the Melboure Yard where they are transferred to broad gauge for the journey to the Western Port steelworks at Hastings for othe manufacture of coated steel products.
