Transformers, Bushings and Insulators
- 40 pole mount transformers
- 80 ea High-Voltage bushings for transformer (allows you to make it either a Single or Three Phase Transformer depending on wiring)
- 80 ea utility pole insulators
- Choosing Single or Three Phase and voltage depends on what the service supplies - residential, commercial or industrial. This is all explained in – Wiring Utility Pole Transformers
- Once you determine the type of transfomer you can then use - Single-Phase Transformer Wiring or Three-Phase Transformer Wiring to correctly wire the transformers. (this will also dictate the quanity and placement of insulators)
- I also have a short take on the holes in the insulators and how to mount them to the crossarms, pole and transformer – Modeling utility pole insulators and transformer bushings.
Safe Harbor Statement: I have placed these parts in BETA. That means that they have not been successfully printed yet. Until that time and have held them in my hand and examined them I can not guarantee them. This means that during the BETA phase by ordering these parts you are essentially a BETA tester and are working with me to improve the product.
Bushings and Insulators
- 2 ea High-Voltage bushings per transformer (allows you to make it either a Single or Three Phase Transformer depending on wiring)
- 2 ea of five different kinds of insulators per transformer
- Choosing Single or Three Phase and voltage depends on what the service supplies - residential, commercial or industrial. This is all explained in – Wiring Utility Pole Transformers

Note on materials: I am offering these in both FUD (Frosted Ultra Detail) and FXD (Frosted EXtreme Detail). I strongly suggest you go with the FXD for a cleaner print.
