The Albatros D.III was one of the most important and iconic fighters of 1917, and many were serving well into 1918. 446 of them were in use in November 1917, and 1200-1440 of them were built. This is the most common mid-production model with the offset upper wing radiator and squared-off rudder.
This model comes in several scales. The 1:285/6mm/1:288 scale model has two aeroplanes
with detachable, translucent propeller disks, joined by chain-links. The 1/600 model has four aeroplanes
in a protective framework.
Joining materials can be removed with nail clippers, wire cutters, or similar.
