Product Description
XY 90 Stereo Microphone mount. Stereo mic clip for mounting two 20mm diameter microphones in a 90 degree XY configuration. Compatable with Schoeps CMC5 and CMC5 microphones. Creates a fast, easy, repeatable stereo mic'ing setup. Includes attachment points for flying/hanging. May be attached directly to a standard microphone stand using a common top nut, but we sugest using in conjunction with a swivel adaptor such as the WindTech MA-1, OnStage MM01, or Triad M1-R.
XY positioning will will produce a well-defined stereo image with excellent mono-compatability when used with cardiod microphones. Some engineers like to use this clip with two omni directional mics for close micing solo instruments with stereo presence, but low proximity effect.
This model is compatable with 20mm diameter microphones, including the Schoeps cmc-5, Schoeps cmc-6 and Rode NT5.
