Product Description
This piece is intended for models of older shays and has no extra room for a decoder or speaker. A Box Headlight is provided in the print for use as a rear back up light.
The Coffee Creek Heavy or Light Shay conversion kits turn the Atlas N Scale Shay into a Hon30 Shay based on a models of approximatley 20 - 22 or 13 Tons respectively. Both share Cabs and Bunkers, but the frames and metal boilers are not interchangable between the two models.
The boiler is designed with shelf for a Digitrax Tiny Decoder, and bunker for Soundtraxx Mini Cube and a DIgitrax Soundbug. Uses Micro Trains #00102006 Universal Body Mount Couplers.
Contained with in the frame print you will find: either a diamond or capped Stack, Bell, Box or Round Headlight, and Headlight Bracket. The metal bolier is recommended for tractive effort.
To assemble the Model you require 4 parts of the various options:
1-Hon30 Coffee Creek Heavy Shay Frame
1-Hon30 Coffee Creek Shay Bunker
1-Hon30 Coffee Creek Heavy Shay Boiler of your choice
1-Hon30 Coffee Creek Shay Cab (Steel, Wood, or Old Wood)
