Product Description
This is a good cheap shape for building star-ship coil. This shapes are designed for small wire (like 4" diameter). Standard star ship coil has 12 or 18 mounting points. We have calculated all other possibilities too, so you can try it for "from 8,9,10 ..., to 42" rods too . The rods are turned slightly outside so wire will not to slide up. Inside are small 3 mm holes to steady the shape on table. If you want it for iron, remember, that holes will slightly smaller as described. The product name gives you basic information about shape. as example A020xS02.5xH16-Z08 means A020 = outer diameter = 20 mm S02.5 = rod diameter = 2.5 mm H16 = height = 16 mm Z08 = amount of rods = 8 Presented coil outer diameters are calculated for Neodymium. We have also other dimension in our shop, please take a look it too. If you want your own dimensions to be build, please tell it us. You just can send mail with some information like outer radius (in mm), amount of outer points, thickness and so on.. There are much information available and several possibilities to build star-ship coil. Please inform you before. (Look for Rodin coil). Thank you and take a look up again.
