Product Description

All right, after printing out a prototype in WS&F to see how well it works (and it does work pretty well) I finally managed to get a new version done. What I wanted to archieve with this model is to basically create a piece of decorative art which doesn´t just exist solely for the sake of looking "good" and appealing but which would also inherit a function, yet without changing the visual impression in any negative way. There now are a few optimisations for the cover to stick in place better and when I was using it to store some screws I found out that it is possible to roll the case around and it remains in its new orientation because the screws would just move inside (and the cover does not fall off). So whenever one stores something that could move relatively easy it´s possible to change the orientation of the whole case. That makes you see the actual sculpt a lot better in quite a few situations. In order to support this I added 4 flattened spots which can be used to get the case in a stable yet rotated position.
