Product Description
Don't let appearances deceive you! Although it looks like a simple icosahedral frame, this object doesn't like to stay put. On even a slight incline, this icosahedral figure can wobble around, seemingly with a life--and mind--of its own. Related to the sphericon, this figure maintains its center of mass at a fixed height off of the table surface during the entirety of its meandering motion. It also has the fascinating property that each of its twenty triangular faces come into contact with the table at some point during the rolling, and it exhibits a much more eccentric and irregular motion than its cousin the sphericon.
