The LMS built a number of different post office sorting vans.D1792 was the neareat they cam to a standard design being built over a perios of 10 years, but then only 27 examples were built.Some had toilets, some did not,and it is thought that only those without toilets  had pickup nets fitted. This version has the window for the toilet.

Now fitted with basic chassis, requiring bogies and fittings to complete.
