- *Stock airbox alternative* Left side air manifold bends around rear shock to allow proper mounting of clamp-on air filter
- Crankcase vent port on bottom
- Fits 2" universal air filters (K&N, UNI, etc)
- Filters used with my setup: Uni High-Flow Street Bike Filters - 1 7/8in to 2 1/16in, 50-52mm PK-82
- Manifold slides over and snaps onto existing carb opening
- A single automotive hose clamp secures carb and manifold together, may use heat shrink or other thin sealing material between clamp and carb/manifold.
- I use a steel cable restraint around filter connection area to prevent loss in case of intake knock-off during xtreme maneuvers. (Other end bolted to bike frame)

- This material's surface is mildy absorbent, greasy dirty hands will leave stains on part. Black would be best option unless you are very careful when working on or around this part.
- A better option: Purchase the 3D files (https://www.cgtrader.com/3d-print-models/hobby-diy/mechanical-parts/xl600-right-and-left-air-intake-manifolds-1983-87) and print on a local printer such as 3DHubs or a friend. Typically ~$50 for both.
- Best material for parts: PLA, in whatever color you desire
