Scale: 1/350

Recommended to help build any Ticonderoga-class guided missile cruiser, except USS Ticonderoga CG-47 and USS Yorktown CG-48, from:

This fully assembled model represents the large tripod mast of most Ticonderoga-class guided missile cruisers of the US Navy.

Notice: this model is not suitable for the first two ships of the class, USS Ticonderoga CG-47 and USS Yorktown CG-48.  Those two ships had quadruped masts, not tripods.
Check your references to know if this model is a good match for the ship you are modeling.

This detailed mast is intended as a direct replacement for Dragon, Cyber Hobby, Italeri, and Revell 1/350 scale Ticonderoga-class model kits' parts D26, E1, F28, F29, F32, and F44.

Carefully remove and discard the reinforcing sprue at the mast's bottom.  A simple cuticle cutter may work best.  Heating the blade also helps.  The reinforcing sprue is intended to provide strength to the model during printing and shipping and should be removed by the modeler.

Advice to correct warped parts:  Warped parts are caused by the presence of uncured microscopic bits of resin within the parts which is normal characteristic of 3D printing.  To correct the warp, fix the warped part(s) of the mast to a flat surface with clear plastic or clear tape being careful to position the bent parts in the desired, straight position.  Then expose it (them) to direct sunlight or a UV lamp for a few hours in order to fully harden any bits of liquid resin present.  When released from their tape or clear plastic, the now fully hardened parts should retain their straight shape.  Ultra violet light hardens the resin, not heat.

This mast cannot be printed in 1/700 scale.  Its fine features make it too fragile to print in 1/700.
