Harvard Texan T6
Is a single piston engine trainer plane developed for the USAF. However it was adapted by both France and Portugal for COIN (counter insurgency) operations in their African colonies during the armed conflicts in Algeria, Angola, Mozambique, and Guinea-Bissau during the 1960s and 70s. In its COIN role the T6 would be outfitted with either four machine gun pods, MATRA SNEB 37 mm rocket pods, or a combination of both.
