This replacement frames and pipes section was designed to replace the stock parts that stand against the rear wall of the cargo hold and addresses two issues:
1) If you decide to replace the door on the port wall that gives access to the circuitry bay with a movie accurate one, you will notice that the stock last frame is blocking the movie accurate replacement door. This frames and pipes section is placed deeper in the hold in order to solve this problem and free that door.
2) Accuracy: this frames and pipes section is more screen accurate, the pipes are also larger than the stock ones in order to match the pipes seen in Empire Strikes Back.
I've detached the pipes from the frames in order to be able to paint them easier before assembly.
This part was designed to fit the stock DeAgo cargo hold and has the exact width as the stock part. As this part is placed deeper in the hold you may need to fill the holes on the floor meant for the insertion of the stock parts with putty. You may also have to remove the notches that hold the the stock pipes in place.
The ceiling contains screen accurate rectangular holes and you could add a transparent sheet of plastic and led lights to create the same lighting effect as in the movie.
This frames and pipes section is meant for modellers who want to add their own detailing to the frames.
Also, if you'd like to scratch build your own pipes than you'd better take a look at the version of this part without the pipes that is also available in my shop by using this link: DeAgo Millennium Falcon Frames (rear).
