If you have issues with shreading the insides of your biking shorts because of a narrow stance and mounts that use bolts on the sides, here is a design that works. A single bolt placed on the rear side of the clamp moves it out of the way and prevents scrapping of your inner thighs. This mount is size specific for the Canyon Aeroad model years 2021+.

Required Hardware (not included):
- 1 - M:5 X 12 mm - 16 mm (5 mm x 12/14/16 mm) socket head cap screw
- 1- M:5 (5 mm) nylon insert lock nut
Suggested installation method
- Mark the height of your seat post and remove it from the frame.
- Install the mount by inserting from the bottom of the post and sliding it up.
- Reinstall the seat post
- Move the Varia mount to the desired location and insert an M:5 X 12/14/16 mm (5 mm X 12/14/16 mm) socket head cap screw and an M:5 (5 mm) nylon insert lock nut in the recesses on both sides of the mount.
- Tighten the screw, please do not torque it down tight, it only needs to be as tight as necessary to hold it in place.
- Mount the Varia and RIDE!
