Product Description
Track gauge for Protofour track with code 70 rail. Protofour or P4 is a set of standards for modelling in OO scale (1:76) with a gauge of 18.83mm, which is the exact scale version of 4'8½" standard-gauge track.
Designed to work with code 70 rail that conforms to NMRA recommended practice RP-15, for example the code 70 rail produced by Micro Engineering.
The gauge has four prongs to hold the rails parallel for ease of laying track. The prongs are placed more widely apart on one side to spread the gauge slightly on curves. The widely-spaced prongs go on the outside of the curve.
