Product Description
Parts in "Strong & Flexible Polished" material to complete the model of the A61 Rmah in 1:200 scale. In particular, these parts are used to make the propulsion, the rudders and the bowthruster work in an RC model:
  • two rudder crank levers
  • rudder connector
  • two connector mounts
  • bow thruster paddle
  • bow thruster drive and motor mount
To complete the model oft he Rmah Auxiliary, the following sets of 3D prints are needed:
If you want to build a static model, all parts are included in the above sets of prints If you want to build the model as a functional radio controlled model, the following parts are available to complete the functions (further parts, e.g. the RC system, are needed):
Furthermore, a display stand is available for A61 Rmah and A62 Alfaq.To complete the boat as an radio controlled model, further components are needed. To make the drive functions from this set work, the following components are needed:
  • one 4 gram servo for steering (recommended: ES-07 by Modelcraft)
  • two motors N20 (DC Ø 12mm x 15mm) for main propulsion
  • two shafts of 150mm length (recommended: Graupner 409)
  • two propellers of no more than 13mm diameter (recommended: Prop Shop STD/0550/4/LH/BR and STD/0550/4/RH/BR)
  • coupling hose (recommended: Robbe R 1386)
  • micro motor M700 (7x16mm) for bow thruster
  • worm gear for bow thruster drive (M0,3, worm gear and 18 teeth gear for 1mm shaft, recommended Sol Expert S3 worm wheel and Z18031 gear)
 The auxiliaries A61 Rmah and A62 Alfaq were built as multi-purpose vessels / auxiliaries fort he United Arab Emirates. They are designed as RoRo ships (roll on, roll off), but can also be used as minelayers and for other supply tasks. Some sources on the web also suspect a possible ASW (anti submarine warfare) duty that, however, has not been confirmed. Both were built by Nobiskrug shipyard in Germany in 2013.  The originals are 58m long, 11m wide, and have a draught of 2.4 meters. They are driven by twin screws (four blades each, no kort nozzles) and twin rudders. It is consequently set up to enable radio control functions (RC), both for the two shaft, the rudder and the bow thruster, which is designed to be fully working. Additionally, the radar, the main crane, the RoRo ramp a the stern and lights can be set up to work.
