HMS Suffolk [1942] (x2) - modernized 1936 along with HMS Cumberland; her aft superstructure cut down and replaced with a large 2-aircraft hangar and fixed athwartships catapult. Their hulls were cut down by one deck aft of "Y" turret to save weight.
