These 3D prints are intended for older modellers, who would like to build novelty layouts, or garden railways, where you can have miles of track, for a minimal cost.
This class 60 body, does not have a slot in the roof for the stop/go lever and it took me around two hours, to, carefully, cut a long, but narrow hole, in the roof, for the switch !
The side of the body is slightly recessed, for the purchaser to add some body side grilles - I painted the area behind the grilles, a grey colour and then glued my grilles in place (made from some fine mesh)
This shell is designed to fit, on to the Tomy / Plarail EF65 Japanese locomotive chassis.
From start to finish, I completed and painted my loco body in four days, although much of that time, was spent waiting for paint to dry !
