This is a fan made model, designed to represent Thomas helmet.
It resembles more the Discovery era, as the helmet has the characteristic SMILE.
It was scaled around the led display from Discovery era, as to be the closest possible to the original size and also fit the lights! It has inner hooks to easily hold the led rig in place.
May require finishing with filler primer or wood filler and wet sanding.
The 2mm shell is more than enough to endure everyday use (this is a 2mm vase example: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8hNa2_vvYzg).
For a better placement, the visor was designed to be mounted from the inside of the helmet.
