Product Description
This is a pair of earrings intended for the National Gallery of Denmark Collection Jewelry Design Contest. They are inspired by the painting "An Egyptian Fellah Woman with her Baby" by Elisabeth Jerichau Baumann. It's the earrings that the woman in the painting are wearing, but altered a bit to reflect on the gender of Elisabeth. Being a female painter back then was an extraordinary thing, and she was an extraordinary woman!
