Goban for the Blind (Igo, Baduk, WeiQI)

This is a board for the Chinese Game of WeiQi, Better known as GO in the united states. This board is desgined to be used by someone who is blind or visually impaired. The grid is raised up off of the boards surface for tactile reading with the fingers. There are smooth areas and scores on the plastic between lines to help the player have a sense of position even in empty spaces on the board.

The board also comes apart of easy transport.

I have also created a set of stones to be used with this boad.
