3mm Scale Lion (Titfield Thunderbolt) Loco

A commission piece, this scratch aid provides the shape and main details of Liverpool and Manchester Railway locomotive No. 57 ‘Lion’, star of the film ‘The Titfield Thunderbolt’.  Originating as a jumbo-ised N Gauge engine, it has been suitably altered to be scale for 1:100 3mm Scale.  Importantly, it is only intended as a scratch aid: a chassis will have to be created by the builder (intended to be free-rolling with a powered coach).  Also available in 3mm Scale for this model is the tender and ‘Dans Coach’ from the film.
