Product Description
The Raytheon AN/TPY-2 Radar was developed as a transportable radar system for the THAAD (Terminal High Altitude Area Defence) SAM System and also as a radar for the Ballistic Missile Defence System. It is designed as an Phased Array Radar with for long ranges up to 1000km. Set contains one AN/TPY-2 Radar in travelling mode with HEMTT M983 Tractor.
Das Ratheon AN/TPY-2 Radar wurde als transportables Radarsystem für das THAAD Flugabwehrraketensystem und zugleich als Radar für das Verteidigungssystem gegen ballistische Raketen entwickelt. Das Sytem wurde als Radar mit elektronische Strahllenkung (Phase Array) entorfen und hat eine Reichweite bis zu 1000km. Das Set beinhaltet ein AN/TPY2 Radar im Transportmodus mit HEMTT M 893 Zugmaschine.
