This is a set of HMS Victory's lanterns. It consists of the following:
- 1 x center lantern at stern (big)
- 2 x side lanterns at stern (medium)
- 1 x admiral's lantern on main top (small)
The lanterns were modeled after plans form John McKay's book "Anatom of the Ship - The 100-gun-ship HMS Victory".
The top of the lanterns is separate to allow painting of the inside or even insert glazing. As the lanterns are warped to one side, a notch prevents wrong orientation placement of the top. The backside of the lantern shows the hatch, which was used to to light the lamp inside.
