3D printed in matte translucent plastic that showcases fine and intricate details.
This unit consists of Nut-Bolt-Washer sets sized for 1:24 and matching as closely as possible the USS (SAE/ASME) standard sizes in Hex Nut style (appropriate for most models post-1920's in North America or other areas where USS bolts were common). They could be used in 1:48 scale (and as such represent 1/2" through 4" NBW sizes) or in other scales with appropriate knowledge of scaling. All sizes from 1/4" through 2" are represented, with the quantity of each size varying depending on the size. Smaller sizes have 48 examples each while some of the largest sizes have as few as 16. All washers are as close to prototype size as possible, although some of the smallest sizes are oversize and over-thickness to meet Shapeways material limitations. All shanks are 0.032" in diameter to work with a #66 drill bit (or a 0.85mm drill bit). The shanks are 1/8" long or 1/4" long on some of the larger sizes.
