Product Description
This is an N Gauge (2mm) model of the ICI 43 Ton Limestone Bogie Hopper wagon that used to operate between Tunstead Quarries in Derbyshire to ICI's works at Winnington in Cheshire.
The Wagon features the large raised ICI lettering on the hopper sides.
The wagon has be designed with bogie bosses to suit a 4mm mounting and a 1.5mm diameter fixing screws. Bogies and wheels will need to be purchased separately (try www.peterspares.com).
You will also need to add a mock brake hand wheel on each side. Unfortunaley this element was too delicate to print in this scale.
If you are wondering where the rivits are, so am I. I did originally draw the hopper with rivit heads but when it was processed online to print they failed to render at all, so I removed them for now to make processing easier.
The model has been constructed with a support member on the hopper end truss's which will require careful removal from the print after transit.
