Product Description
The only active-radar “fire and forget” variant of the venerable AIM-7 Sparrow, development began by Douglas in 1952 to arm the Douglas Skylancer, but was transferred to Canadair in 1956, when the Sparrow II was selected as the primary armament for the Avro Arrow.

However, despite an extensive testing program, technical difficulties continued to plague the weapon, and the program would finally be cancelled alongside the Arrow in 1959.

A subtly unique historical munition, now available for your modeling needs, in 1/48 and 1/72 scale. Also available in an economical “quad-pack”…buy in bulk, and save!
