Combat Orbiter Wings and OMS Pods

Replacement delta wings and Orbital Maneuvering System (OMS) pods add-on for Combiner Wars Blast Off!

PLEASE READ: To put this set of wings on requires the removal of the metal rods from Blast Off's wings. To do this there are two methods. One that I have used is to use a sharp blade and shave, in thin layers, along the base of the wing until the metal rod is fully exposed. Then, twist and remove the wing and use a needlenose plier to grab the rod and slide it out.

The other method which I have not tried (but fakebuster has) is to drill a hole in the front so you can push the rod out.

As with all customization job involving a sharp blade, use common sense and extreme caution. Do it slowly and with control. I can't be responsible for your injury or damage to the toy.

ALSO Installation Notes

• The O.M.S. pods has some gaps when fitted agains the leg. I recommend using epoxy putty to achieve a secure fit. I used super glue gel which worked well too.
• The O.M.S. pods once installed limits the amount the legs open up in transformation process. I have tested that transformation can still occur. To allow more range for legs to open, trim off some plastic at the edge where OMS pod presses against the leg to create a taper, as seen in the first picture attached to the product page.
