This product is an OO9 Scale (or HOn30) standing fuel tank for the lineside, to refuel your OO9 diesel engines. It is based on the green fuel tank seen on the Narrow Gauge Skarloey Railway in Series 4 of Thomas the Tank Engine and Friends. Rusty uses this fuel tank to refuel at the Bluebell Valley station, and it was also seen beside the cottage where Falcon came off the rails in 'Bulldog', where it was used as a water tank instead.
This model is only avaliable in Fine Detail Plastic for the OO9 version, as there are very small parts which would not print on Versatile Plastic. There is also a Bandai Scale version which is larger and therefore can be printed in Versatile Plastic. The Bandai scale version is available here: https://www.shapeways.com/product/T8FQWF8EP/bandai-scale-fuel-tank
Please note the model seen in the photos was printed by my home printer, so any imperfections you see in the photos will not be present on your model if you choose to purchase one. The model comes unpainted, but it is very simple and easy to paint up.
I am also trialling a Print At Home service, where you can order items from my store directly from me. It will cost a bit less than here on Shapeways, and will be printed by my own 3D printer here at home. They will be shipped out from Australia at buyer's expense, similar to Shapeways. If you would like to ask me about printing any of my items from home, please don't hesitate to contact me via the social media links below!
If you have any comments, questions, or queries, feel free to leave a comment here on shapeways or contact me through my social media below. Until next time, I wish you dry rails, smooth running, and happy shopping!
