CTA 6000 Series, Early Curve Door Pair

This is an HO Scale model of a pair of CTA 6000 series rapid transit cars. This set of shells represents the middle order of 270 cars 6201-6470 built by the St. Louis Car Company for the Chicago Transit Authority in the mid 1950's using recycled parts from Chicago's PCC streetcar fleet. This listing represents the 6000 series in their mid production configuration with a single headlight over the train-door, curved side doors, screened vents on the no. 2 end over the train doors, and the conductor's cab on the opposite corner of the motorman's cab on both the A car and B car.
