Meons are three inch long gliding creatures native to Eden Prime, the first Earth in the universe from which all other universes spun off.
Though they appear amphibious in nature meons are actually highly intelligent mammals.
Meons are commonly trained by Arhkens, pre-fall humans, to pilot chariot hover-boards. The creatures have limited telepathy and form a psychic bond with their trainer. Many arhkens also use their pet meon as a sort of psychic external hard drive for storing information they expect to forget or for sharing learned skills with friends.
