When the powerful Mercedes D.IVa engine premiered in 1916, the Rumpler C.IV and Albatros C.X two-seaters were selected to feature the new engine. Roughly 400 C.X's were ordered and built by multiple manufacturers, and the C.X served through the end of 1917.
This model comes in 1:144 and 1:285/6mm/1:288 scales. The 1:285 product includes two aeroplanes
, each with detachable, translucent propeller disks rather than propeller blades. They are joined by disposable links to keep the price down, since single-part models are more affordable. You can break the links with nail clippers, wire cutters, or similar.
