Product Description
This is the piece of Ikea plastic that connects to the glider in the KVARTAL system, it goes in the curtan pannel top Rail, I built it to have several nubbins so that if one breaks because your 2 year old decides to hang from the curtains, you can just pop the glider on to another nubbin.
UPDATE : FEB 21, 2017
The part arrived, I tested the part with the original rails and it works. The only issue I had Is I over tightened the screw and split the plastic. Printed plastics are not as strong as cast plastics, however the screws do not actually hold the rail up, its the small plastic edge on the printed replacement which carries the wieght, so building it longer is actually a design improvement. I suppose if you really want it to last. print in metal.
