This is a carefully scaled and highly detailed 1/160 scale model of an ISO tanktainer used to carry bulk liquids.
Tanktainers like these were used throughout Europe and the United States to transport chemicals and foodstuffs by rail, road and boat.
The scale side-frame detail is very precise and highly detailed. The tank would look great loaded on a European container car, single-stacked in the well of a US stack-car/flat car or perhaps just in the yard or on the back of a truck somewhere on the layout.

If you purchase smoothest high-detail plastic and carry out some careful finishing between the tank ribs you should be able to achieve an almost layerless finish on the tank itself.
Although smoothest high-detail plastic coupled with careful finishing and painting creates an almost layerless finish I also decided to create a kit version of this model so you can use a length of brass tube and 3D printed end-caps to create the tank. You can see the kit version of this product here: https://www.shapeways.com/product/V3UPZUZ6W/8x8-iso-tanktainer-type-two-v1-1-kit-n-1-160?li=shop-inventory
The choice is yours :)
Note: Version 1.1 to fix an issue with the frame and tank supports.
