The Owl is a large Hybrid Cayley/Aerolyth transport built by the Harper’s Ferry Federal Arse-nal. Unlike most other Army flying craft, this was not a result of the Endicott Board and coastal defense. Instead, it was ordered to support the growing transport needs of the Army’s Mechani-cal Cavalry units. A combination of Aerolyth and tandem wings allowed exceptional lift and long range. The Owl can carry some of the largest armored vehicles available to the US Army, including two Land Cruiser-class armored vehicles.
