Product Description
This Boxcar is based on the drawings of a Boxcar series built by TC&IRR in 1924. Such Boxcars with plank sides and external bracing were extremely common between the 1910es and 1960es, and were the most commonly seen US Wagon type. All US Railroads operated them, and thousands were sent to USSR, Great Britain, Canada, South America or Persian Corridor over Lend Lease or as a Part of US Transport Command.

Such Boxcars are seen in most harbor photos of US Navy yards, bringing supplies, ammunition, or small equipment.

This set contains 3 Boxcars, one with both slide doors open, one with one slide door open, and one closed up, so you could show them under unloading.

Any other scale could be provided on demand. Also, any train compositions could be assembled for you. Just write me a short message.
